My new job is really stressing me out!

One week into the job only and I've as good as dead(tired). Its been the longest time since I slept so early every night(ard 11).

To wake up at 6.20am in order to reach my new office at 9am is no joke one know. Once reach office, work will start immediately, no la kopi or gossiping 1st. Its such a huge difference from my dear Citi.

I bought 3 cute little fortune cats to place on my desk. My dear kitties, you guys must bring me loads of good luck alright?

I've gotta stop shopping already.

I am going BROKE!!

Ever since that faithful day that I didnt get to buy my TV at the IT fair, I've been on a very very compulsive shopping spree. Jiajia is not helping things by asking me out for retail therapy almost every single day.

The above are what I bought, there're still much more which I'm lazy to take pictures of. I fell in love with Chanel first then Dior. Now I've fallen in love with Laneige. Every product for Laneige is so cheap and good! I still have some stuff with I've paid in advance but yet to come. I have the stocks arrive tomorrow!

What makes me very very happy is as per illustrated below:

My freebies from Laneige!!!! Can you imagine that?? Its like my little skincare counter already! I've gotten a light blue totebag and a luggage bag from Laneige as well, which are too huge to capture in my phone(no more memory already, lah!).

Where got people get so many freebies to fill up a little cupboard one? I really think I super "zhuan dao" lo.

Will be going Takashimaya tomorrow to get my DKNY watch. Now I really HAPPY BOM PI PI liao.

Bought 2 boxes of mooncakes from Ritz Carlton. They're damn damn delicious can.The Cempedak favour.The white lotus with 2 yolks.

The Cempedak one is so damn nice and I reached home today to find it finished up.

Oh my goodness,

After 6 gruelling hours of intensive wiping and scrubbing, my home sweet home is no longer like a smelly pigsty!

Thanks Susan more making my toilet smell so nice!

Yours truly just hired a part time maid for like S$10/hr and thy home is sparkling clean and tidy now!

Angela dearest took a half day leave to accompany me and I was quite hum to stay home alone with the maid having just met her the first time. Initially, 2 was supposed to come but one turned up instead.

Susan cleaned my house so thoroughly that even my Mommy cannot fight with her. Jiajia commented that home sweet home had never looked so neat.

The sad thing is, Susan said my home looked like a haunted house. Must be because of the cobwebs forming at each and every corner of the house. Its so sia sway man -.-"

Am considering to have her come over like say once a week to maintain the neatness. That would mean I dont have to do housework forever!

Should I? Should I not?

Very tired and bored.

I guess this is my ideal style of life, being able to sleep until i feel like waking up but its getting way too boring.

Its been 2 weeks since I quit the dream job everyone's dying for, Citigold.

Just came back from my Genting trip. Its unbelieveably FUN!

Took the 11pm bus from Golden Mile, reached there at 5+am. We had to wait till 12pm before we can check in so we went into the casino to kill time.

Was winning initially playing the French Roule but lost all my $$ after awhile. Gamble is really no good de :(

YH brought us around and showed us the scenery until around 10am when I could no longer tahan and need some sleep as I wasnt able to sleep on the bus.

Went into the hotel lobby area to take a nap while waiting for our room.

Slept till around 2 and woke up for the theme park.

The theme park was really fun and thankfully, we managed to finish off all the games as none was under maintenance except for the roller coaster which maintenance only lasted for say, an hour?

The most scary one is the machine whereby it raises you up to like 10 or 15 storeys high and releases you after a pause. Its really a killer. Wah I almost heart attack and died on the spot.

Reached Singapore on Saturday night and went Bedok for the famous bak chou mee. Still as nice as ever.

Went over to Angela's house on Sunday morning to prepare for a big seafood feast. YH to cook black pepper crab and me, An'an the great cook, to cook cereal prawns.

The main dish of the day was of course the black pepper crabs.

The irony of the whole event was that, they couldnt get any crabs despite going to 3 different locations.

Lol.

They settled on black pepper chicken at least.

Gary wanted to play along and cooked yong tau hu soup for us. Amazingly, it was quite nice despite him not having any experience.

My cereal prawns became YH's as he took over the wok in the middle of it. Deep frying the prawns was a pain in the ass as the oil kept bubbling and flying out and everyone was afraid of getting scalded. YH managed to throw every prawn in and the prawns came out beautifully golden.

Cereal prawns looks good but taste was abit off as we used the ingredients for 15 prawns and we cooked at least 25 prawns. Lol.

Next time would be better.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Hope 2008 is a good year for everyone. Be it health or wealth, hope it just keep getting better :)

Went for a department lunch @ Crystal Jade Vivo yesterday. Food there was great but go with big boss so feeling abit stress.

My very nice boss gave me 4 free movie tixs. She really very sweet. Always brightening up my day with small treats here and there :)

Feeling so lazy on Monday that didnt actually managed to do much work. Just lazing around and discussing with Leonard & Cherryl on whats the best way to save money. Their views differ so much that I really dont know which advice to heed.

Cherryl ask me to save $700 a month while Leonard said $320 a month will do.

Happy Lantern Festival everyone!

Sibei sianz. Worked late shift today. Ate Mac and went home straight after.

Feeling rather blue nowadays after my Mother's accident.

Poor Mother slipped in the toilet and got 4 stitches in Tan Tock Seng Hospital while I was out working. No one informed me of the incident even when I reached home.

I got to know of the accident only after relaxing and watching the TV for for than an hour.

Its like, I not part of the family at all! Such a big thing and no one told me about it at all )=

Very heart pain when I see Mother's bandaged hand.

Trying my best to help by doing the dishes after myself and wiping the table whenever I feel that its dirty.

Argh.

Every morning I'll try my best to dry blow my hair until my hair becomes very 'pong pong' and volumised. Very happily, I'll walk out of my house feeling good that my hair is 'pong pong'. Took a bus to the MRT station and slept soundly on the bus before reaching the station.

I reached the station and looked into my reflection.

My hair is like, FLAT.

Furious. Angry. Frustrated. Irritated.

I guess no words can describe the agony I'm going through now.

I absented myself one day during my first month of attachment and Brenda wants me to pay back that day to her. Fine. I have no MC.

I've got a 2days MC for my 2 month and she wants to deduct 2days away from my already measly amount of pay of 420 per month.

How calculative can they get ?!

CHAO CHEE BYE LA. I VERY GOOD TO EXPLOIT ISIT? HUH?

Knn. Just because I keep quiet doesnt mean I'm a pushover lo. CBCBCB CCB.

I think she's clearly forgotten that she'll still need me for extra 2 weeks after my attachment.

Pissed me off twice this morning.

After pissing me off, she happily told me that she wants some serious talk with me. "Wendy agreed to give you $10/hr already. Want to ask you ah, is it ok to work for me a few days after that 2 weeks extension?"

I replied her coldly," I dont know. Dont think so. Really dont feel like working. and the 2 weeks extension right, is it ok that I dont want to do it? Cause that that I told you that I'll confirm with you again ma."

"Huh? But why lei? Ni bu yao hai wo lei."

"No lo. Cause that time I was supposed to help you only. Then now say need me to do recep as well. I feel that its very unfair to me that I have to take up 2 person's job. What if I cant cope?"

Its very sianz be to extremely dried eyed and still have to stare at the comp screen for at like 9 hours everyday.

My contact lens seems to want to make their way out of my eyes sooner or later.

I'm at Anson now. And its so cold and quiet over here.

Half of my company staff are at some roadshow in some hotel in Singapore, Maritius Mandarin if I'm not wrong.

I agreed to extend my attachment le. I asked for $10/hr and I got it. The money's good, but I still feel sick whenever I think of the additional 2 weeks I have to endure here. Ok la. Nowadays Brenda treat me not bad. No more unreasonable requests and her temper seems better after my little conflict with her.

See, if I work for 10 hrs a day, I'll get SGD$100 a day. That times two weeks is SGD$100 x 10.

SGD$1000 for just 2 weeks of work lei. Bay pai hor. And I think my figures are going to over shoot lo. B'cause, the overtimes here are S.C.A.R.Y.

Workload is decreasingly drastically but I still have got to do OT. They like to ask me to do things last minute which is irritating the hell out of me.

Beginning to love this attachment of mine. Its actually quite challenging and fulfilling(that is, minus away Brenda's constant naggings).

Time really flies in this company. Its already 11.30 now.
6 1/2 more hours to knock off time!

Been so busy with work recently that I dont even have time for myself.

Everyday the first thing I do when I get home at night is to shower immediately and sleep.

My ultimate aim for this attachment is to be earlier than Brenda and Wendy every morning.
I report to work at around 8.45 every morning. No kidding. I think I can get the earliest staff award if my this record carries. I am very proud of my punctuality.

The thing is, my office would be completely empty at the time I reach every morning. I can see who are the more hardworking staff whom report earlier and the more lazy ones whom come later.

And, I always OT OT OT so I can also see who are the ones whom will work until late late and who are the ones whom will leave on the dot.

Actually I think I can be boss le la. Come the earliest and go home the latest.

I'm beginning to love this job of mine. Maybe its because I'm getting used to the environment or that workload isnt that heavy after our year end closing.

Or maybe, its because, I'm feeling happy and good nowadays.

I think Brenda is catching my happy virus as I can see her smiling more often nowadays.

Right now, I'm at Suntec while she's at Anson.
Though I dont really like her alot, I miss her very much. (^-^")

Worked till almost 2am on wednesday and went back to work on thursday which is a public holiday! and i report to work before 9am everyday ok. No more late le.

My first day of attachment is hell.

Er. Not exactly hell. But I was so busy that I had to do one and a half more hour of OverTime.

Though I'm situated in TanjongPagar, I have to run between Suntec and TanjongPagar all the time!

Met up with Wanda and gang after work last night!

We had actually waned to watch spiderman 3 one. But, all the tics were sold out except for the 1 - 2 am shows. Woah. That too late le la. Cannot take it man. The next day still got school and work for the rest of us! We dint catch it eventually.

Saw Tarin(Taryn) and Thomas at Cine. What a pleasant surprise! Its been quite a while since I last saw them. Tarin seems to be growing prettier and prettier every other time I sees her. How come ah? Is that what we call "ai qing de zi run"?

They getting engaged on the 13th of June. I feel very happy for them!

Lincong came NYP(bloody hell, I hate this school) for interview and shun bian brunch together with me. He commented that NYP(stupid school) got lots and lots of pretty girls. We concluded that girls born in 1988 and 1985 are very pretty. They've only got one difference. 1988 girls are mostly quite tall while 1985 girls are, er, short la. Lol.

I slacked the whole day at school after Lincong left. Lab is super dupa cold today! I kept shivering inside. My teeth feels very cold. I really need a thick jacket! But then, I'm going to get out of NYP in like, 3 weeks time? So, its actually quite stupid to waste $$ on some jackets.

I think my body is getting quite heated lately, pimples sprouting up everywhere. Especially my chest area. Having a slight sore throat as well. I hope it blooms into a flew blown fever or something like that, so I can get another 2days MC tomorrow.

I find this quite true:

In life, we meet someone whom we really love but only 2 find out tat tis love was never meant 2 be ours... What we get in the end is hurt & our heart broken into a million pieces & there's no way to put it back together again... As a result, we become a totally different person as we only 1 2 protect ourselves from any form of hurt... In the process, we hurt others w/o realising it... But the 1 who is being hurt the most is we ourselves...

Likewise, in life we often meet people who loves us but we juz can't love them the same way, we try our best not 2 hurt them but end up inflicting more hurt... Y is it tat we can never meet someone who appreciates us juz as much as we appreciate them...

Is it circumstances or the environment or is it they themselves who chose 2 change???Why is it tat when things happen, people often say tat they know not what they were doing & did not expect things 2 turn out tat way & tat they dunno what 2 do... WHAT would a 9-year-old girl know about pregnancy? After all, she's still a child herself. At 9, when all she should fret about was her schoolwork, Jane (not her real name) was already grappling with pregnancy, labour pains and yes, morning sickness.

You see, this girl was in Primary Three when she was made pregnant by her boyfriend from the same primary school back in 2004.

Yes, she was just 9 years old, a Primary Three student in a school here in Singapore, according to a Tamil Murasu report on Sunday.

And by the time her parents found out, it was already too late for her to abort the baby.
The shocking case was mentioned during a seminar about youth relationships organised by Tamil cultural group Narpani Peravai and Republic Polytechnic last Saturday.

Jane, the girl, was an early puberty case, and had already started menstruating when she was eight, said counsellor Sheena Jebal from Nulife Care & Counselling Services to Tamil Murasu.
An early developer, she was about 1.3m tall and quite big-size for a girl her age.

She met her boyfriend in school and they had sex frequently at the girl's house, which was a private property.

All this time, the children's parents never suspected a thing.
The girl's parents were out and working most of the time.
Jane is the only girl in the family.

And when she started gaining weight and had morning sickness, she didn't suspect that she was pregnant.

She just thought she was sick.
Her family, teachers and friends also didn't suspect anything amiss, and thought she was just putting on weight.

When Jane was in school, her blouse was tucked out so no one could tell if she was pregnant.

Her mother - who thought her daughter had a urine infection - took her to the doctor, and was horrified to find out that her daughter was six-months' pregnant.

By that time, it was too late for Jane to abort the baby.

Said Ms Jebal: 'She gave the child up for adoption soon after giving birth.'

Her son would be about 3 years old now.

Jane and her boyfriend were subsequently referred to Ms Jebal for counselling.

Today I cooked everything myself!

"Hua Diao Jiu" prawns. It doesnt look nice but tastes delicious ok.

Went JBar last night for Calvin's birthday celebration! They opened 4 bottles of Chivas which was really, alot. We played abit of card games and took loads and loads of pictures(all not on my phone) because Calvin just had a new phone and he wanted to play with the phone camera I think.

I left the place at around 10.10pm to meet Meiyun for MOS. She hor, very kuku one lor. called her before I left to see if she'll reach on time and she said yes. In the end, that kuku bird was still at AngMoKio station when I reached MOS. But luckily I did reach early. The queue was so damn LONG lo. Wa lao. Nowadays people really dont need sleep one meh? So scary.

And that kuku bird reached around 11 lo. We chit chatted for nearly one hour in the queue before we managed to get in. The bouncer was, so, YANDAO. Meiyun said he looked like Wu Bai.

Well, MOS was super fun. At first it wasnt, but after that it was! We had to wait wtill like 2am to keep our bags with their counter because it was already full. We hit the dance floor immediately after we got rid of our bags. The songs was nice and there was foam coming down at every "high" dance tunes.

There were so many familiar faces. Jerome, Indra, loads of NYP students, that guy we met at Momo. Power man. No wonder its called "Tertiary" night.

And ya, I drank a glass of Lamboghini last night leh. And I was still sober. Aint I power?

Reached home around 4 feeling hungry like hell.

Kaiyin came accompany me for dinner on Wednesday! We ate KFC and I felt so, so sinful.

We went starbucks after my work(she waited for me to end work). I had a glass of Toffee Latte? and she, Peppermint something? Nice la. We shared an Eclair. NICE! That guy at the counter was veri nice too, offering to add chocolate for our Eclair.

This kind of service, I like.

Went "Little Bali" last night. The place was damn nice lo. The ambience all that.

Whole night hear Kelvin and Cheeseng crap can le. Laughed until I nearly died.

I think I abit siao. I kept taking pictures of the toilets.

Went to Angela KOK PeiYi's 21st birthday chalet over the weekend.

It was so enjoyable, except for the part that we met that fucker of a pervert flasher. Sway until, laosai.

The BBQ fire was set by Yours Truely alone. Power ba. I'm so prond of the fire that I set by, I told every single person person I knew over that BBQ. I BBQed a piece of marshmellow for TERENCE leh. Wahaha. And, I also took a picture with him. Wait till YongHan send to me. Then I can haoliao le. Hehe.

Took all these pictures at our school's MTV area. Nice ba?After school on Tuesday, went with Angela to Orchard to change her Levis stuff cause all were of the wrong size!
