I went with my Dad for his cataract operation just now. So fast man, the operation.
Been so long since I last went Singapore General Hospital.
They have very cute Sandwich vending machines!

There were 2 flavours. One, "Hot Cheese Deluxe", and the other is "Mushroom something". Oh how could I resist the temptation of nice hot mushroom sandwiches?!
I bought one. Mind you, the sandwich was really piping hot.
The taste of hot cheese and mushroom combined with Multi-grain toast was really shiok, espacially when the cheese was stretchable(think, PizzaHut).
So nice! I think I gotta get one tomorrow as well!
They have tidbits vending machines as well. Which makes me wonder, people in SGH really that hungry? Then I decided, yes, they are. I was sitting beside the sandwich vending machine happily doing my cross-stitching, I noticed at least 5 people buying sandwiches. And, that's within half an hour.
One Indian lady asked me to take care of her son(make sure he doesnt run away) while she goes to the restroom. She was lucky her son was cute(as in adorable). I wouldnt had agreed otherwise. TMD! She asked me if I was working there. Not everyone in cardigans are nurses ok.
Anyway, we reached SGH at 6.30 and I thought that was early. We were supposed to reach at 6.45. My precious sleep...
There was an old couple whom reached at 5+ I think. I heard them say so to the nurses while I was in the waiting area. And my, they were SWEET! I wonder if my life-partner would treat me so nice?
They looked around 70 of age and still cracked stupid(as in funny, but lame, but who cares? Its rare to see old couples so loving) Jokes to each other. And the old uncle was supposed to be the one in-charge of applying eye-drops for the old lady(the one having operation).
I think I shall look out for Teochew men in future. Because the uncle was a Teochew! I think all Teochews(that's Tarin!) are gentle and kind!
SGH was very well-decorated with giant art pieces!
Anyway I felt the cashier area looked quite nice and classy.
That's my Dad! His backview also quite Shuai right! Hee.
